SERVICE POLICIES & TERMS OF AGREEMENT

POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT & BINDING AGREEMENT

BY BOOKING SERVICES, PAYING A DEPOSIT, OR SIGNING ANY CONTRACT WITH PRETTY ON ME BEAUTY, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY ALL POLICIES AND TERMS SET FORTH HEREIN. These policies are prominently posted on our website and incorporated into all service agreements. No exceptions will be made to these policies unless agreed to in writing and signed by both parties prior to booking confirmation.

Your deposit payment serves as your electronic signature and legal acceptance of these terms.

BOOKING & DEPOSIT POLICIES
Securing Your Date
• All bookings require a non-refundable deposit to reserve your date and time
• Deposit amounts are specified in your written quotation
• Dates are NOT reserved until deposit is received - we operate on a first-paid, first-served basis
• Some services require full payment at time of booking (as specified in quotation)

Payment Schedule
• Initial Deposit: Up to 50% of total service cost (due at booking)
• Final Payment: Remaining balance due on or before service date
• Accepted Payment Methods: PayPal, Bank Transfer, or Online Payment
• Late Payment: Services may be cancelled without refund if final payment is not received by agreed date

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICIES

BRIDAL SERVICES
More Than 90 Days Before Event:
• Deposit refunded minus processing fees and confirmed assistant fees
• Trial services are non-refundable and will be deducted from refund

Less Than 90 Days Before Event:
• Deposit is forfeited entirely - NO REFUND
• Any completed trial services are non-refundable

Bookings Made Within 90 Days:
• Deposits are non-refundable under ALL circumstances

NON-BRIDAL SERVICES
More Than 48 Hours Before Service:
• Standard cancellation policies apply (see quotation)

Less Than 48 Hours Before Service:
• Cancellation fee of 50% of total booking cost
• Remaining payments may be refunded minus applicable fees

NON-REFUNDABLE FEES

The following fees are NEVER refunded under any circumstances:
• Processing fees
• Assistant fees (when additional artists were booked)
• Completed trial service costs
• Travel expenses already incurred
• Deposit amounts (as specified above)

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES & ATTENDANCE POLICIES

Individual Service Drops
If ANY person scheduled for makeup services fails to appear or cancels their individual service:
• Full payment is still required for the missed service
• No refunds or credits will be provided
• Timeline may be adjusted but artist is not obligated to extend session
• Client remains responsible for payment of all originally booked services

Timeline & Punctuality
• Makeup applications have strict time limits
• Late Fee: $10 per 15-minute increment for delays
• All parties must be available at scheduled appointment times
• Multiple person services must be at same location and consecutive

Client Preparation Requirements
• Must follow provided hair and skin preparation guidelines
• Must arrive with clean, dry hair (unless otherwise specified)
• Must disclose all allergies, sensitivities, and medical conditions in advance
• Failure to prepare properly may result in additional charges or service refusal

COMMUNICATION & COMPLAINT POLICIES

Issue Resolution Requirements
To be eligible for ANY consideration of refunds, credits, or adjustments, clients MUST:
1. Communicate concerns IMMEDIATELY to the attending artist during service
2. Provide opportunity for artist to address and correct any issues on-site
3. Submit written complaints within 24 hours of service completion
4. Provide specific, actionable feedback about service concerns

No Retroactive Complaints
Clients who fail to communicate issues during service or within 24 hours waive all rights to:
• Refunds of a specified amount
• Service credits or adjustments
• Compensation claims
• Dispute resolution

Silent dissatisfaction does not constitute grounds for refund or adjustment.

SERVICE CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS
Working Environment Requirements
The artist requires:
• Adequate power supply and natural lighting
• Clean, safe, and sanitary working conditions
• Artist reserves right to refuse service if environment is deemed unsuitable
• No refunds if service refused due to inadequate conditions

Additional Expenses
Client is responsible for:
• Parking fees, tolls, and valet charges
• Travel fees (as specified in quotation)
• Any location changes may result in adjusted travel fees

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS & WAIVERS

Service Limitations
• Makeup and hairstyling results are subjective and may vary
• Artist not liable for: allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, dissatisfaction with results, property damage, or delays beyond artist's control

Force Majeure
Artist is not liable for delays or cancellations due to:
• Extreme weather, natural disasters, pandemics
• Government restrictions, traffic, power outages
• Illness, accidents, or other unforeseeable events

In force majeure situations, artist's liability is limited to refund of payments (excluding non-refundable deposits and fees)

Client Indemnification
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the artist from all claims arising from:
• Client's actions, negligence, or misrepresentation
• Failure to disclose medical conditions or allergies
• Actions of client's party members or guests

BUSINESS PROTECTION CLAUSES
Modification of Services
• Artist reserves right to refuse additional services not specified in original quote
• All service modifications must be agreed upon in writing prior to event date
• Additional services requested on event day may be declined

Contract Enforcement
• This agreement is governed by Ontario, Canada law
• Defaulting party responsible for all legal fees and costs
• Agreement cannot be assigned without written consent

Privacy & Image Rights
• Artist maintains client privacy and confidentiality
• Client grants artist right to use images captured during service for promotional purposes
• Client information retained for 3 years per Canadian tax requirements

FINAL PROVISIONS
Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement and supersedes all prior understandings. No oral agreements or representations apply.

Severability
If any provision is deemed invalid, remaining terms remain fully enforceable.

Agreement Acceptance
BY PROCEEDING WITH BOOKING OR PAYMENT, YOU CONFIRM:
• You have read and understood all policies
• You agree to be legally bound by these terms
• You acknowledge this is a binding contract
• You waive rights to dispute these clearly stated policies
